Keep Soaring Through Spring, Bulldogs!
Greetings, Kenwood families! Welcome back! Spring has sprung, and we are all returning from what I hope was a restful, yet fun-filled spring break. We are at the beginning of the fourth nine weeks, the final grading period of the school year. As the birds are chirping and the squirrels are scampering, our Kenwood students are continuing to work hard at reading, writing, and arithmetic.
We have a month left until that final end-of-year F.A.S.T. assessment where our students will show what they know, so it is very important that they continue to stay focused. Continue to encourage your student to read and practice their math every day.
Once results for the F.A.S.T. are in, we will be honoring our students with a variety of rewards and special treats for greatest growth by class, by grade, and overall. More to come on this, so tell our Bulldogs to keep soaring to greater learning heights!
April is Autism Awareness Month
Kenwood, let's light it up blue by wearing blue on Friday, March 31, and every Wednesday during the month of April to shine a light on autism and show your support during World Autism Month.
