Birth Control Methods

Project Guidelines

Collaborative Assignment

You and a partner will be assigned one method of birth control to research. The two of you must complete your fact sheet with accurate, credible information on your method. You will have some freedom in how you present your information to the class, as long as you meet the assignment criteria listed below.

You may choose from the following 3 platforms to present your information:

**All of these platforms are free, but will require you to create a user name and password. Please use your lebcedars information so you don't forget it! I will not have the ability to retrieve your user name or password for you if you don't remember it.

Project Guidelines

Using ONE of the platforms above, you will create a presentation that meets ALL of the following criteria:

1) Your birth control method is prominently displayed

2) ALL information from your fact sheet displayed in a neat, organized manner. *This could be presented in paragraph form, bullets, scrolling text, etc. Your group needs to determine which works best based on your presentation

3) At least 30 seconds of video content - created by you or found on the web and embedded into your project. See more below about your video requirement.

4) At least 5 pictures that relate to your topic with a brief explanation (written caption or verbal explanation) for each

5) At least 3 web links to additional information on your topic. Feel free to use this link to shorten up your web address.

6) A running or presentation time of at least 3 minutes.

7) A brief assessment/quiz to make sure your classmates were paying attention. **We will discuss this a little bit more as a class after research has been conducted.

This is your chance to be creative and have fun!! :)

Video Requirement

You can embed videos from YouTube, Vimeo and Viddler to Smore. If you want to create your own video and upload it to YouTube, that is definitely an (awesome!!) option as well. You could then embed that video anywhere on the page. This would also work for Slate and Flipagram. Videos should be at least 30 seconds, but no more than 2 minutes. If you use multiple videos/clips, your max video time is still 2 minutes!

(Note, your video time does NOT count towards your total presentation time.)
