Alan Turing
Alan Turing was an English mathematician and scienticst who broke codes in the second World War. He was born in 1912 and died on June 7th 1954, when he commited suicide after facing allegations of being gay (which was illegal at the time). Alan Turing was famous for building the first electronic computer during world war 2, and later constructed the automatic omputing engine.
In 1936 he went to Princeton University in America and returned to England two years later. He then went to work for the government and cracked codes secretly.
