Dorm Mania
Contact Person: Madeleine Boel (dormmania@gmail.com)
DormMania is a student-led initiative to reduce waste on campus. When people move out, they have often have perfectly usable dorm items they chuck in the haste of move-out. To prevent this, we collect dorm items and store them over the summer, and then sell them to students for cheap at a big yard sale in the Fall! All proceeds go towards running the program. We need volunteers in early May to flyer, collect, and sort! Pass it on!
Plastic Bag Recycling
Project Head: Allie Rosenbluth
This is an awesome and easy way to get service hours!

Heritage Humane Society
Project Head: Samantha Braver
If you like animals, volunteer with Williamsburg’s Heritage Humane Society! Many jobs are needed—from walking the dogs and socializing with the cats to helping maintain the shelter. Many of the animals have been abandoned or mistreated in the past so they need all the love they can get. Volunteers must go through a training session at the facility, located on 430 Waller Mill Road, before they can begin working with the animals. Join the FB group “APO at Heritage Humane” or contact sibraver@email.wm.edu to get involved! More information can also be found at http://www.heritagehumanesociety.org/.
