Crestdale Families,
It's hard to believe that its already December! We are nearly half way through the year and have learned so much. It can be hard to stay focused with the excitement of the holiday season approaching which is why we appreciate extra support from families to remind students to exhibit SHARP behaviors at school.

Transportation Changes:
If you are going to change how your student is going home, please contact the office 765-973-3415. This needs to be done before 2:00 (1:00 on Tuesdays). We cannot get students off the bus once they are on the bus. We would like to ensure all of our students arrive to their destination safely.
Bus Safety:
The safety of our students is of upmost importance including while riding the bus to and from school and during field trips. We will be addressing bus safety and bus expectations with all students and work with bus drivers and bus aids to ensure expectations are being met. We also encourage families to talk with your child about the importance of staying seated while riding the bus, following adult instructions, keeping hands to ourselves, and using kind words. We want to encourage a safe and positive start and end of the day for all students and appreciate your support in our efforts.
Outdoor Recess:
With the ever changing weather, please remind students to dress for the weather and wear a warm coat, gloves, and a hat as the classes are still having outdoor recess and it can be chilly at times. (
If you need assistance, please let us know and we are happy to find ways to provide for student needs)
Employment:
We are still in need of ECSE paraprofessionals for our preschool classrooms. If you are interested please apply online at www.werrichmond.com or contact Mrs. Elorreaga for more details. Volunteers are also welcome to help monitor the lunchroom, make copies, attend field trips, etc. Please reach out if you are interested (a background check must be completed).
Class Dojo

Clever
Click the link to access programs such as Lexia and Dreambox. Students can use these programs for extra practice at home. Students should know their login information. If not, please reach out to your child's teacher.
School Information
School Hours:
Doors open at 7:15 am. The bell rings at 7:45 am. If your student is not in their classroom by 7:50 am, they will be marked Tardy.
Daily breakfast 7:15 am- 7:50 am
* Monday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday 7:50 am- 2:40 pm
* Tuesday 7:50 am- 1:40 pm
Every Tuesday is scheduled in-service time for our RCS teachers. In the event of a two hour delay, school will be dismissed at 2:40 on Tuesdays.

K: 10:30-11:00
1st: 11:00-11:30
2nd: 11:30-12:00
3rd: 12:30-12:30
4th: 12:30-1:00
Crestdale PTO
The Crestdale PTO meets the 2nd week of each month.
The December meeting has been postponed. The next meeting will be Tuesday, January 10th.
