From the desk of Jennifer Gottlieb...
It was fantastic to have some time to share cookies and tea and get to know more of you at our Summer Break on this past Wednesday afternoon – thank you for stopping by! We are doing it again this Wednesday (only with different snacks…)!
This past week I had the chance to spend a few minutes in the PBL workshop that Kim Kocsis and Andrea Zellner are facilitating. It was great to see so many teachers here in July (!) thinking deeply about the ways they engage their students in learning.
Summer weekends are a joyful thing – I hope you have the chance to chase a few fireflies! Stay cool!

Greetings PA’s, Consultants, and Supervisors,
As you work to plan and organize PL offerings for 2019-2020, please take a moment to consider if school counselors are part of your intended audience. If your event is relatable to college preparation/planning, or career exploration, or military options, please tag those appropriate SCECH designations on the SCECH application to help counselors fulfill their new requirement PD requirements.
More specific details can be found in this document:
· Tagging School Counselor SCECHs
School counselors will thank you (and help to boost your PL attendance)!
Congratulations Suzanne!
Congratualtions to Suzanne Toohey, who has been nominated to serve as LEA Member-at-Large for the National Association of English Learner Program Administrators!
