If your child is quarantined due to a household member testing positive please contact the bus garage to inform them of the days they will not be riding the bus. The phone number is 401-348-9430.

Also, if you child is considered a probable case due to having COVID19 symptoms then siblings must stay home too (even if no symptoms). Once a negative test PCR result comes in then all siblings can return if symptom free.

Please make sure your child dresses in layers as temperatures drop into the twenties and thirties. We will go outside as much as possible for recess.

Attendance Update

Our RIDE data shows that 8.6%(25 students - in person/distance) are chronically absent. The realistic goal is to have less than 5% chronically absent, but ultimately 0%. Chronically absent is defined as being out 10% of the days in school. This data impacts our STAR rating.

Please make sure you contact the main office if you change your contact information since returning the contact form or at any point you make a change.

We will be using #dcsanchors all over social media. Look for it on twitter, Facebook, and Instagram!

Have a safe and nice weekend!

DCS DL RICAS 2021 Family FAQ

Q: When do I need to drop off my child and pick them up for the Wednesdays?

A: Drop off occurs between 8:30 and 8:45am. Drop off will be at the gym door entrance, where attendance will be taken. Please fill out the health attestation form via Skyward. Fourth graders will go to the art room and third graders will go to the library. We will ensure social distancing measures. Testing will begin around 9:10. Test sessions are 120 minutes long, but students can have extended time. Be prepared to drive up to the gym door to pick up your child at 11:45. If your child needs extended time, we will notify you ahead of 11:45.

*Drop off and pick up is like our normal system. Drive down Plateau Rd. from Urso Drive.
