Nanotechnology
Small tech conquering big threats
What is Nanotechnology
Nanotechnology is the science of making things at the nanoscale. The Nanoscale is 1 to 100 nanometers, which is very small. It can be used in many different field of study including Engineering, Biology, the medical field, Etc...
Why Nanotechnology is important in our lives
Nanotechnology is becoming very important in our lives. Nanotech. is important, because with the advances in science we are researching how to make nanobots that can target infected cells in the human body.
How nanotechnology affects me
Nanotechnology can affect me in many ways. It could target the bad germs in my system when I am sick, and it could also make our technology "smarter" by reducing power usage and optimizing important things like weight.
How long has Nanotechnology been researched
The idea of nanotechnology hasn't been around for that long. It wasn't until the late 50's that physicist Richard Feynman thought of the idea of making things at the molecular level. But it wasn't until the early 80's that research could really be preformed because of the scanning tunneling microscope.
Ethical concern of Nanotechnology
When we develop nanotechnology it could give us "powers" that if we used them we could make one "useless" material, into something that could be very essential to survival. And it could but into our privacy because it is such a small piece of technology.
Nanotechnology and other sciences
Nanotechnology relates to many fields of science, not just Biology. Nanotechnology could also help in the way we travel in space, by making it so we use less rocket fuel.
The future of Nanotechnology
The future of nanotechnology is what ever we imagine it to be. The reason for that is because all it is right now is research and ideas, not actual products, yet.
