Washington Tech Tidbits
Washington School - April 27, 2015
Parent University: Monday, 4/27
Parents and community members will have the opportunity to navigate some basic settings and learn about Google extensions and apps. The session will also provide guidance in managing device usage at home, including an overview of the SecURLy filtering system, as well as ways to promote positive and productive digital citizenship. Anyone is welcome to attend this free event! **This would be a great opportunity for 2nd grade parents to learn and ask questions about the 1:1 Chromebook program that their children will be involved in next year.
The Board of Education meeting will take place immediately following Parent University at 7:30pm.

Street Art
Art isn’t just found hanging on walls and in museums. Art can be found all over the place: in alleyways, on the sides of buildings, on walls and water towers. The Google Cultural Institute just added 10,000 new works of art to its Street Art collection. Search art all around the world, take audio tours, and explore the stories behind the art.
