AVID NorCal College Trip

Another success! Because of the generous support from Woodside's Foundation, we were able to take students on the SECOND campus tour of the year. We visited four colleges over two days with just under 50 students.

SUHSD AVID Info Night for Prospective Students!

Thursday, March 2nd, 7-8pm

This is an online event.

Please pass along this information to anyone who may be interested in joining AVID next year (incoming 9th graders, current 9-10th graders).

The purpose of the meeting is to...

*Learn more about the AVID programs at Carlmont, Menlo-Atherton, Sequoia, and Woodside High Schools from current staff and students.

*Hear the program explained by AVID staff/students

*Learn how AVID supports college-bound students, the expectations, and how to apply, and AVID students will share their experiences in the program.

After the informational presentation, guests will be able to ask any questions they have about AVID at Sequoia Union High School District. All parts of the meeting will be available in both English and Spanish.

Senior Families -- Nuestra Grad

This year, all school sites will combine to hold a Nuestra Grad -- a graduation ceremony for Latinx/Latine students. Please remind your student(s) to respond to the student survey no later than March 15. More details will follow once we have an accurate count of interested students.
