The Falcon Flyer
January 14, 2022
From the Principal!
Happy New Year! I hope you all had a wonderful break and that your new year is off to a great start! It was so wonderful to welcome our Falcons back on campus this week, and we all have been so incredibly impressed at how well they have fallen right back into routine here at school. We jumped right back into action and highlighted our week with our Gifted and Talented Showcase, Dual Language Spelling Bee, and All Pro Dads Meeting! Our students will soon be participating in the Kids Heart Challenge starting January 18th! Be on the lookout for information on how they can participate!
Please remember that there will be no school this Monday as we will be observing the Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday.
Please read through this newsletter for information regarding upcoming events as well as information on things happening around campus. As always, please reach out to us if we can help in any way.

Library News!
We are talking about digital citizenship in the library. Be sure to ask your kids about how to be safe online and how to balance their online and offline activities. They have some really good ideas like setting a timer before getting on a device. We will be talking about being good digital citizens for the next 2 weeks.
Here is our library schedule. Please help your kiddos to put their library books back in their backpacks on their library day. We have a lot of overdue books after the holidays. I will begin handing out overdue notices next week. Be on the lookout.
