Anti-War Movement

Anti-War Flyer
This flyer shows how people in the anti-war movement believe that war is in favor of the rich people who don't fight. They believe that war is good for those people, but bad for the people who are forced to fight and die. Even once they returned home, veterans were forced to go back to work and live as they normally would, without any rewards for their service.
Kent University
Many followers of the anti-war movement formed protests. The protests were very radical and could sometimes become violent. The incident at Kent University was when a protest turned violent and protesters who threw rocks and sticks at the National Guard were shot and killed.
Protestors
Protesters would line up along the streets dressed as soldiers with signs and protest the war. Many times the protests would turn violent and the National Guard would be called in to hold the protesters back and maintain the peace.
Vietnam War Veterans
Some war veterans of the Vietnam War started an anti-war protest in 1971. War veterans lined the streets to protest the war. They believed that the violence that they had seen in the war was not necessary.
Mothers Against War
Some of the most vehement war protesters were the mothers of men who were killed in the war. They believed that their children were killed for no reason, and that no other mothers should have to lose their children to war.
Make Love Not War
One of the main sayings in the anti-war movement was "Make Love Not War".
Protesters believed that war could be solved with world peace rather than fighting.

Explanation
I chose to do a flyer on this topic because I believe that war is necessary for us to remain a free country, but I wanted to understand the reason behind why so many people in the past and present chose to join the anti-war movement.
