These are the biographies of your 2020-2021 GCA PTSO Executive Board Candidate's. The Executive Board Election will run April 20, 2020 - April 24, 2020. You must be a GCA PTSO Member to vote, ballots have been emailed to the email used with your membership order. If you do not know your GCA PTSO Membership number email gcaptsosecretary1@gmail.com to request it, if you did not get a ballot email ptso@georgiacyber.org with the name used to order your membership to request it. Your new GCA PTSO Executive Board will be announced on April 28, 2020.

My name is Christina Norris. I currently live in a small town called Social Circle, Georgia. I have been a Learning Coach with Georgia Cyber Academy for going on 4 years now. Both my children, Emma who is 13 and Hayden who is 8 attend Georgia Cyber Academy and have been for close to four years. I am a Travel Agent with World Travel Holding and my husband, Jeff is a Home Inspector with The Brickkicker. For fun, we like to play golf, play outside sports as well as watch Georgia football, Go Dogs!! We also love to watch movies and go shopping as a family. I especially love to cook and spend any time I can with my family.

My name is Vernia Levy-Beard. Currently, the General Manager of Priority Services of Atl. which is a sole proprietorship that handles transportation and concierge services for corporate, social, the elderly and physically impaired individuals. I am a Learning Coach and member of the Parent Advisory Council at GCA. My major goal before exiting this universe is to hopefully contribute to the betterment of our society for the next generation. Furthermore, I am the mother of two daughters. One, which is currently a seven-grader at GCA and the other is a graduating senior at Georgia State University. I am also the spouse of a wonderful husband for 33 years. We live in the suburbs of Atlanta, Georgia. I was born in Chicago, Illinois but was raised in Coatopa, Alabama located in rural West Alabama in Sumter County. I attended the University of Alabama and Alabama A&M University where I received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance with a Minor in Accounting. After graduating from college, I worked in the financial field of banking for seven years. In 1994, I became an entrepreneur in the field of hospitality until 2,009. Then, my work experience evolved into my current profession.. Lastly, my profession has given me the opportunity to participate and become a member of civic organizations that are beneficial for our communities. In essence, my belief is that a strong unit can trample over any obstacle.
