- Click "All" to see all apps and scroll down to select "Study Island."

- Students can access their individualized learning path (2nd-9th grade) or tasks assigned by their OVS teacher. Note: "NE Programs" is a place to practice activities according to Nebraska State Standards in Language Arts and Math
**Click on the below video tutorial to WATCH these steps in action!**
Students earn Blue Ribbons if they score an 82% or higher on a practice activity. Have your student set a Blue Ribbon goal this summer to see how many they can earn!

2017-18 Update
K-8 Updates
We are actively brainstorming ways for parents to get involved at OVS. Our families have so many great areas of expertise and backgrounds that we want to leverage in order to build a stronger school community. Please share your ideas and thoughts on how you might be able to contribute to our school as a volunteer with Beth or Wendy.
We are working with the HR department on how this will look in our school to ensure that we are following district procedures. Volunteer roles will require a background check for the safety and security of all students. Keep in mind that our PTO is actively seeking volunteers for committees as well. #bettertogether
LC Training
For the 2017-18 school year, we would like to offer parent training pathways that will support our LC's. The pathways that we have in mind are literacy strategies, math strategies, and technology training (including Commonsense Education). These trainings would happen during face to face time for students and we can repeat them online. Please share any suggestions you have in regards to this. We want to know how we can support you!
9th Grade Infosession
On Thursday, June 15th, we will have an info session for upcoming 9th grade students and parents. It will be at Omaha North High School in Room 234, from 10-12pm. This info session will highlight all enrollment options for 9th graders in our school.
9th Grade teaching staff
We are still interviewing for 9th grade teachers. As hires are made, I will share them in the newsletter.
