October 6, 2016 #coltslead
From the Principal
Hopefully you have signed up for a parent conference. Monday, October 10 is a student holiday to allow our staff the opportunity to conference with you. Included in this newsletter is a letter from Dr. Henry to share with your employer if you are taking off work to attend a conference. Thank you for partnering with us to bring about success for our Colts!
College and Career Days are right around the corner. These are fun days at Copeland. We promote life-long learning, careers and celebrate that our Colts are college-bound.
Red Ribbon Week is October 24-28. This year's theme is Good Choices, Good Character. We'll focus on what it looks like to live drug free and have some fun dressing up as well.
We kick off our Boosterthon Glow Run Fundraiser on Tuesday, October 25. This amazing program helps us raise funds that benefit our students while promoting fitness and leadership. Mark your calendar for the Glow Run on Thursday, November 3, 2016 during your student's PEAM time. For more information check out the link below.
Thank you for your support of Copeland. We're better together. Have a great weekend! -Mrs. Rice
