Principal's Message
AJHS Family,
Please take the time to look through this newsletter as it is full of important information regarding course registration for the 2023-2024 school year as well as multiple opportunities for your student.
Yes, it is time to begin thinking about courses for next year! For our 9th graders, next school year brings the transition to Austin High School with an expanded offering of courses including those at the Career Academies of Decatur! For our 8th graders, you will begin taking high school-level courses and earning transcript credits towards your diploma! We will also utilize this time to help our current AMS 7th graders learn about AJHS and their course options.

PowerSchool App
We have been informed by some parents that the PowerSchool App has stopped allowing them to see grades. Our understanding is that the company recently completed some updates. If you run into this issue, then please try logging out and logging back in or deleting the app and redownloading it. This seems to be fixing the issue. Thank you!
