SCHOOL TRIBES - COLOR DAY THIS FRIDAY, SEPT. 30TH
- Each student is assigned to a group of K-5 students with a specific teacher.
- These groups meet every few weeks throughout the school year during morning assembly.
- Group are named after character traits. Each group has a designated color and they are working on call signs and hand signals.
- The goal of these groups is to continue building a sense of community within our school and extend an extra layer of support to our students.
- The feedback from the students has been excellent so far! We are excited to see the future impact of this new initiative on campus.
We will have school tribe meetings THIS FRIDAY, September 30th, during assembly. Students are invited to wear a shirt and/or accessories with the color of their group to school. No face paint or hair paint allowed.

P-EBT FOOD CARD INFORMATION
Many of you are wondering why you are receiving P-EBT cards and how to use them. Our parish received free lunches last school year and our students were eligible for food benefits through the summer. This summer money is being loaded onto the P-EBT cards that are being sent to families in our parish. Your pin number is the last four numbers of your student's school ID. The student ID can be found in https://jcampus.cpsb.org/progress/.
The information at https://www.dcfs.louisiana.gov/page/pebt-announcements should answer any further questions you have about the P-EBT cards.
