Mass Hysteria : is a phenomenon that transmits collective delusions of threats, whether real or imaginary, through a population in society as a result of rumors and fear.

Where did it take place?
The Crucible: took place in 1692 in Salem, Massachusetts
What started the Hysteria?
Elizabeth Procter accused Abigail Williams of being a witch and then rumors started to spread the Tituba and others were also witches.
How were peoples lives impacted ?
people lives were involved in hysteria because they lost loved ones to these rumors that were spreaded.
Did this impact History in any way?
mass hysteria changed history because now because it has to be proven that your a witch and courts now days are more fair to allow you to prove your not a witch or anything.
