Our Coyotes enjoyed participating in activities to promote a "Healthy Lifestyle" this week around campus! Thanks to the Leaders of the Pack (our student council) for organizing such a fun week! Also thank you to a generous parent who donated bracelets, ribbons and stickers for all of our students.

Our week ended with an awesome costume parade lead by our principal, Mrs. Patterson and finishing with Whitney High School Leadership students. Thank you to WHS and another generous parent for decorating and loaning out your golf cart for this fun event!

Family PurposeFull Pursuit: Our Thankful Things:

What are the everyday things you’re grateful for that you might tend to take for granted like running water, electricity, or a washer and dryer? List those things at the dinner table to see how many thankful things your family actually has. See who can come up with the most “basic” thing, no matter how silly, and get creative with why we appreciate those very small items in our life! Over the course of the meal, brainstorm ways that you might more intentionally show Gratitude for those gifts.

Nutrition Services- Educational Benefits Income Form

School lunch will continue to be free of charge this school year. Elementary Menus

We need your help to ensure adequate funding for our schools and students. The Rocklin Unified School District (RUSD) now offers families simple, easy, and online access to complete the Education Benefits Income Form. When all families submit the form, RUSD can receive the maximum state funding and better meet each school’s and student’s needs in order to leverage additional services for all students. Without everyone's participation, schools may not receive all of the funding they are entitled to from the state, which would result in fewer services for our students and fewer tax dollars returning to our local community benefiting our students.

Funding supports services for students, families and staff, including the following:

  • Mental health and wellness services

  • Middle and high school counseling

  • Full-day Kindergarten

  • Staff and parent education

  • Academic Intervention programs and tutoring

  • Technology for students

  • English learner and translation services

  • College & Career preparation

  • Supports for Foster Youth and Homeless Students

All families are asked to complete the Education Benefits Income Form as soon as possible, but no later than Monday, October 31, 2021. All information is completely confidential and will not be shared with any other organization or entity. Participation is critical to ensure our funding levels are not decreased for the current and future years. We can all take a couple of minutes to help ensure that RUSD receives the funding our students deserve. By completing the form, our students stand the chance of receiving valuable resources instead of having those funds go elsewhere. For the 2021-2022 school year and moving forward, this new online submission process will only take a few minutes to complete. Parents click here or visit for easy access and submission.

Rocklin Unified respectfully requests that all families take a few minutes to complete the form.
