CLMS Family Update
March 3, 2023
From CLMS Principal, Mr. Eric Pettit
Good Afternoon CLMS Families!
Happy March, CLMS! I hope that everyone has been able to stay dry today. We are excited, though, because it means that Spring is right around the corner! This week, students throughout the building have been busy working on writing persuasive essays to their principal, taking a look at different moon phases, working with fractions, seeing how force and mass impact movement, and more!
Historically speaking, the 3rd quarter of the year is the longest. This is done intentionally to allow for any calamity days that may occur in January and February. The 3rd quarter ends on March 31st. Report cards will be available for viewing on PowerSchool on Friday, April 14th.
This newsletter will take a look at an upcoming special guest, our family engagement night, pictures from the week, and more. Thank you for taking time to see what is happening around CLMS and please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions!
As always, Go Pirates!
