DON'T LET COVID-19 HIJACK YOUR DAY!
A Note from Mr. Shaffer
Happy Friday! Thank you for the positive messages and feedback over the last few weeks!
Although the week presented some new bumps and challenges for many of us (my son missed a deadline for an assignment), I appreciate the commitment of our teachers, staff, and families to make the most of each day and to stay connected virtually through Flipgrid!
Over the last two weeks, we have used Flipgrid to say hello and to spread kindness. Please click the links below to add a video or picture and/or view what has already been shared.

- Week 2 - Be Kind and Spread Joy: https://flipgrid.com/+cherry2688
This week, we will be reconnecting through music. Please see below for a special message from Mrs. Snyder and for more information in regard to this week's Flipgrid activity.
Stay well, keep connected, and remember to smile!
With Sincere Thoughts,
Principal Shaffer (and the Worcester Team)
A MESSAGE FROM MRS. SNYDER
This week’s school-wide Flipgrid activity highlights music. We encourage you to capture your child/children or even whole family (that includes you, parents and caregivers!) sharing yourselves singing, dancing, and/or playing an instrument. Worcester Elementary School staff are already working on our videos. If you need a little inspiration, please check out Jimmy Fallon & The Roots performing "Safety Dance" with first responders:
To begin recording, please click the link below to access Flipgrid, and then tap the plus sign to record and upload a short video or picture. You can record for a maximum of a minute and a half.

A compilation of the videos/pictures will be shared in our next edition of the Worcester Weekly. These shared musical videos will surely put a smile on all of our faces. Thank you for taking the time to do this activity!
A MESSAGE FROM MRS. SCHWARTZ
Hi Wolves,
You are totally rocking it in Art! I hope everyone is having fun with all of the art lessons. Thank you to all the students who shared their art projects with me. I am so proud of our students' work so I created an art gallery slideshow for all to enjoy. I look forward to seeing you and posting more of your artwork.
Wishing you all well,
Mrs. SchwARTz

Be sure to check out the Worcester Library website by clicking the link below. Right now, you can find our Poem of the Day, which is read (and sometimes written) by our teachers as well as a 100 brick LEGO challenge. Check back often...you never know what may suddenly appear...that's a magical hint (O^O)!
