The Tell Tale Heart is a horror story about a servant that works for an old man. The servant noticed that the old man's eye had a pale blue vulture looking eye he didn't like. "He had never given me insult. For his gold I had no desire." The servant thinks of ways to kill the old man."You should have seen how wisely I proceeded with what caution with what foresight with what dissimulation I went to work" Ever night at twelve o'clock the servant looked to see if the old mans eye was open and it was not until the eighth night then the old man was awaken by the lantern and the man kills the old man hides the body under the floor and the cops show up." Anything was more tolerable than this derision! I could bear those hypocritical smiles no longer! I felt that I must scream or die! and now --again! --hark! louder! louder! louder! louder! he confess.
