May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope (Romans 15:13)
Dear whānau, tamariki and parishioners,
It is sad to farewell such a number of families this week; the current year 6 have been a wonderful cohort - they have supported one another and worked together in a way that should make you, as families, very proud. I am sad to see them leave, but very excited to see where the world will take them. I have known so many of them as preschoolers - especially those children of leaving families. Some families will end an association with the school for almost 20 years. They deserve a medal!
For those of you who remain with us, all the information you need for 2022 will be coming home at the end of the school day tomorrow. Knowing who your child's teacher will be is very exciting. As I said last week there are a few moves around the school and the classes have been organised to make the most of the available space. The children are generally in mixed year groups with Junior classes sitting at 20 or less, and no senior class over 27 ākonga/students. More information below.
In the meantime I wish you all a safe, happy, healthy and holy Christmas. Thank you for all your support over this past year, we have had some challenges but we have also had so much fun.
God bless, kia kaha, Annie
