Europe and The Marshall Plan
Europe was in the ruins after World War II. Leading to the formation of the Marshall Plan. The Marshall Plan was launched by the United States and provided massive financial aid to rebuild European economies and to prevent the spread of communism.
The United Nations
The United Nations was formed near the end of World War II to create a body for the nations of the world to try to prevent future global wars.
