I hope you'll join us next Monday night for our annual Fall Festival. This event is a way that we can be a blessing to families in our community by providing a safe place for trick or treating. We still have a dozen spots available for trunks. To participate, call the church office or sign up at the Welcome Desk - decorate your car trunk on Monday the 31st - show up at 5:30. We will provide the candy for you to hand out!

Speaking of candy, thank you EBC for generously donating so much of it. We still have room for more. You can drop it off in the big box that says "Candy" outside of the Worship Center. If you want to help but don't want to decorate a trunk, we need people in concessions - serving popcorn and hot cocoa. Call the church office to sign up.

I love our Fall Festival because it gives me a chance to watch so many of you welcome and befriend the families that attend the event! Sometimes showing the love of Jesus starts by just being a good neighbor; a kind neighbor; a generous neighbor. That's what we're doing on Monday night, October 31st. I hope you'll join us!

This year we are encouraging everyone to pick up a shoebox from the table outside of the Worship Center. There will not be a packing party. Take your shoebox home fill it and return it to the church by November 20 at our Thanksgiving Dinner.

Ideas to fill your box: soccer ball with hand pump, flashlight, hygiene items, socks, sandals, hair ties, stuffed animal, school supplies, sunglasses, yo-yo, jump rope, watch, kids jewelry, light-up toys, doll etc.

Please no candy, food, glass, scary or war related items.
