Tabar Talks
Good afternoon families and friends of Corpus Christi Academy, we hope all is well in your households as we continue to navigate the up and down nature of the 2019-2020 Winter season. Winter Storm Mabel has come and gone and we have the mid-point of the third quarter coming on Friday, February 14. Health and safety is always our priority at “The Academy” but it is also important to accenuate and congratulate our teachers and students on their superlatives. Our MAP testing data for the school has been realeased and I am very pleased to say that our growth from the fall was phenomenal, twelve classes/subject areas witnessed their conditional growth percentile at or above 88% and five classes/subject areas had growth in the 99th percentile. While growth was achieved and we are very proud of this growth, there is no time to rest on our laurels. We will continue to utilize Excel time, class time, and even homework to continue to challenge ourselves on a daily basis, GREAT WORK EAGLES! Stay warm on Friday and have a great extended President’s Day weekend, CONTINUE TO EXCEL AND SOAR!

Road Trip to Columbus: EdChoice Conference on 2/17
The Diocese has arranged to transport any parents, teachers, administrators, students, or community members that would be willing to go to Columbus to show their support at the conference committee hearings at the Ohio Statehouse that are scheduled on Monday, Feb. 17 from 9 am - noon.
We want to show the Diocese of Cleveland’s support of EdChoice. There may even be an opportunity for some of our parents to speak. Our thought, meet at two schools, one east and one southwest then head to Columbus on a chartered bus. Locations will be determined based on participants’ responses.
Please respond to this email (tarnone@dioceseofcleveland.org) by Thursday, Feb. 13 at 5:00 p.m. if you or some of your families would be willing to give part of their day on Monday to support this cause. We will follow up with all willing participants with details for the day.
We hope that some of you might consider joining us as well. Thank you for sharing this message with your stakeholders!
Sincerely,
Mrs. Tracey Arnone
