Superintendent's Message
May 19, 2023
Clever Families,
As we come to the end of the 2022-23 school year, I want to express my appreciation for the support I have received as your new school superintendent. It has been a great year, and I am grateful for the opportunity to lead and serve this amazing community.
Thank you for your trust and partnership in the education of your children. Your support and involvement are vital to their growth and development. Together, we will continue inspiring and empowering every learner.
As we approach summer, I hope each of you can find time to rest and make some great memories with your family. We’d love to see your students in summer school, but if not we look forward to seeing them in the fall. I am excited about the journey ahead and the opportunities we will create together.
Thank you for a remarkable year, and I look forward to an even brighter future together.
Sincerely,
Dr. Breeden
Superintendent
Clever R-V School District
Our May Teacher Proud Tuesday recipients are Zach Rea (High School), Michael Morris (6-8), Amanda Cook (3-5), and Trina Stevens (PK-2). Our building principals, assistant principals, superintendent and director of operations presented each teacher with a “Trophy of Awesomeness”.
Congratulations to our May recipients!
BEGINNING TEACHERS
The Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education requires beginning teachers to move from Initial Professional Certification (IPC) to Career Continuous Professional Certification (CCPC). One of the requirements to do so is going through the Beginning Teachers Assistance Program (BTAAP).
GOCSD has worked with each of our beginning teachers going through the program, and our instructional coaches completed coaching cycles with each teacher. The instructional coach and the new teacher were able to collaborate, plan and co-teach with each other. Yesterday, our instructional coaches were able to present each teacher with their GOCSD Certification of Completion of the Beginning Teacher Assistance Program. Great job teachers and coaches!
