Schools across the state are preparing for WIDA testing in January and February. Here's the Indiana Checklist to make sure your school will be ready for assessing your English Language Learners:

December 12 Family Safety Plan Night
The Coalition for Our Immigrant Neighbors (COIN) will have a free Family Safety Plan Night on December 12 from 6 to 8 p.m. at 1315 Shelby Street, Indianapolis, IN. Families can meet with an attorney from Indiana Legal Services, Inc. to create a family plan, including temporary guardianship and power of attorney, in case of emergency such as detention of undocumented family members.
