The Cons
The cons of the Industrial Revolution
The effect of the Industrial Revolution changed the course of American history, but it came with two sides; the pros and the cons. In the 1700s the Industrial Revolution started in Britain. At first people started to work in textile mills, where they made clothes. A lot of hand tools were replaced with machines. Workers spun thread in the textile mills. The cons of the Industrial Revolution out weigh the pros because they tell us more about what happened during the Industrial Revolution and what is still going on today.
Although there are several pros such as new inventions, the cons outweighed the pros. However, I feel that the cons outweigh the pros because they tell us more about what happened during the Industrial Revolution and what is still going on today. This can help us open our eyes and help people. And we can even help children in child labor; we can help them get educated. Although the Industrial Revolution was bad at some points, overall it was an advantage for America.
