Welcome Back - Again!
Happy New Year!
Well, it feels like Ground Hog's Day again as we welcome middle school students back on campus tomorrow. It is challenging to keep everything straight as we navigate schedules back and forth, but tomorrow the BLUE (A-K) cohort is in person again. We are scheduled for Day 2 that begins at 8:10. The January calendar is below for your reference. This newsletter has a few updates regarding the Third Marking Period, the January calendar, and protocols we are following from previous newsletters.

Third Marking Period
You will receive an email this week from both Central Office and the Middle School seeking a decision if you would like to change your student's enrollment status. This communication will be for changes only. If you chose to have your child remain in their current platform, there would be nothing you need to do. January 22nd will be the end of the Second Marking Period, which will be a half-day.
Holiday Travel Reminder
If you traveled out of state recently, the following must be followed per the Board of School Directors. Any students and faculty/staff who travel out of state need to have a negative COVID-19 test 72 hours prior to returning to the state, or 72 hours after returning to the state, to return to in-person instruction. If a student does not or cannot obtain a negative test result, they are required to quarantine for 14 days prior to returning to in-person instruction.
Schedule
We will continue to move through our current four-day rotation schedule indefinitely and regardless of whether we are in for a full day or a half-day. Please refer to the Calendar attached above for the times for the next two weeks of class.
Day 1 - A Day - Four Blocks for periods 2, 4, 6, 8
Day 2 - A Day - Four Blocks for periods 1, 3, 5, 7
Day 3 - B Day - Four Blocks for periods 2, 4, 6, 8
Day 4 - B Day - Four Blocks for periods 1, 3, 5, 7
