The Living Desert Zoo! February 6, 2019 This field trip gives families the opportunity to take a fascinating walk through the Zoo on a self-guided field trip. Families will embark on an adventure in search of several interpretive and interactive stations attended by volunteers. Experience a variety of fascinating events, exhibits, and desert animals. Bring spending money to feed the giraffes or ride a camel. This time of year is beautiful in Palm Desert, and the temperature is perfect! Dress in layers as the mornings are chilly, but temps are comfortable in the afternoon. Families may bring food, or purchase food at the zoo's restaurants or cafe. LINCOLN MEMORIAL SHRINE
Join us on a tour of the Lincoln Memorial Shrine and a viewing of “Reflections of the Face of Lincoln” (Animatronic Abraham Lincoln)
created by Garner Holt Productions. The attraction is a unique experience for audiences of all ages and brings history to life in a way never-before-seen in the Lincoln Memorial Shrine.
The field trip begins with the attraction, “Reflections of the Face of Lincoln”. We finish up with a tour of the Shrine.
Open for grades 1st grade to 12th grade.
The information may be a little too much for younger students (1st through 4th grade), please use your best judgment with your child's ability to sit and listen to the docent.
Every attendee needs a ticket.

Hi everyone! I am a mom of 3 awesome kids ranging in age from 10 to 6 years old. My husband and I are high school sweethearts and have been married for 16 years. Having homeschooled our children over the last 6 years in 3 different states, I've found homeschooling here in California, especially with Inspire Charter, has been a great fit for our homeschool journey.
