The Halfway "mark " of the school year and Team Robinson has sooooo much to Celebrate and Cheer
Over the next two weeks, Team Robinson will have several opportunities to CELEBRATE our first 90 days as a school community through CIV Walkthrough, Professional Release, 1:1 Data meetings and staff/grade level meetings. During these collaboration opportunities we will examine strengths and areas of next steps all centered around student achievement outcomes.

Celebrating Jackie Robinson's Legacy through College and Career Day - 1/31
Each year as a school community we celebrate Jackie Robinson's date of birth with Career Day. Career Day is an opportunity to encourage students to explore their interests and passions as an extension of their academic program and in the process better understand themselves, their community and the world.
CAREER DAY SUGGESTED QUESTIONS FOR STUDENTS
During the Career Day visit, it is important to ask questions. The following sample questions may help get you started.
1. How long have you been in this position/industry/field?
2. What is a typical workday like? Do you work mostly alone or with a team?
3. What do you like best/least about your job? Why?
4. What led you to your current career/job?
5.What level of education is required for this career? Other skills required?

African American Summit Committee parents/staff ....Presents "We are better together"
All students in grades 1-8 are welcomed to participate in sing, poem, skit and dance. No prior talent is necessary just a willingness to try. Signups are this Monday 1/29 and Tuesday 1/30 on there is a signup sheet outside of Ms. Henry's door/Room 34....everyone who signs up will be able to participate in some capacity.
