MCCHS FRIDAY FOCUS
19th Edition: February 3, 2017
Pilgrims on the Way of Truth
from the Interim Superintendent:
The search for our new superintendent is proceeding apace. Our search company, Gonser Gerber, is currently accepting resumes from all interested parties. In the coming weeks, they will make initial contact with our possible candidates and begin the vetting and interviewing phase. Stayed tuned for more info. If you or someone you know might be qualified and interested, please take a look at the job announcement at http://www.gonsergerber.com/advancement-consulting/executive-search-for-advancement-professionals/current-searches/.
We are also in the midst of working on the school's projected budget for next year. The school's Executive Committee had a productive discussion last week about some of the possible expenses and enrollment trends that will play large roles in setting next year's tuition rate. They also discussed ideas for new streams of revenue to help offset some of those costs. Again, more information will be provided at the end of the month after the whole Council of Administration has a chance to discuss the issue.
Finally, we have just completed Catholic Schools Week. A special thanks goes out to all those at Montini School in McHenry who coordinated and celebrated our annual All County Mass. You all did a wonderful job! May our Lord continue to bless our schools, especially Marian Central, in the coming semester.

The Pajama Game tickets ON SALE NOW!
In the fast-paced times of 1954, the only things that the workers at Sleep Tite Pajama factory in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, want are fair working conditions and their 7 ½ cent raise! Come see Marian Central Catholic High School’s rendition of The Pajama Game, including classic songs “Hernando’s Hideaway,” “Steam Heat,” and “Hey There.” Watch as Babe, the head of the workers’ grievance committee, falls for Sid, their new superintendent; Hines, the time-steady man, pines for Gladys, a secretary at the factory; and the workers fight for a pay raise. Join us for fun, comedy, and lots of singing and dancing!
