1) Between 25-50% of Nike's factories in China have access to toilets and drinking water during the day.

2) In more than half of Nike's factories, employees work up to 60 hours a week. In 25% percent of those factories, those who refused to work overtime were punished.

3) In 25% of Nike's factories employees were less than the legal minimum.

Uzbekistan Cotton Labor

In Uzbekistan, an 18-year old who was picking cotton to be used by Nike, was beaten to death when he tried to leave early.

It is well known among companies that Uzbekistan labor policies are no good. Over 130 companies have vowed not to purchase cotton from here, including Nike. Nike hasn't followed through.
