November EQ Newsletter
2023
Dear Parents,
November will highlight the crucial importance of motivation in your child's development. This month McAllen ISD will utilize motivation to promote Emotional Intelligence Awareness during the week of November 13th through the 17th. Motivation is the driving force behind every accomplishment, big or small. It fuels their desire to learn, explore, and grow. When children are motivated, they approach challenges with enthusiasm and determination, which are essential qualities for achieving their goals.
As parents, you can foster and sustain your child's motivation by showing interest in their pursuits, encouraging them to set and pursue goals, and offering praise and recognition for their efforts. Create a supportive environment where they feel empowered to take risks and learn from their experiences.
Remember that motivation is not only about academic achievements but also about nurturing their passions and interests. By helping your child stay motivated, you are equipping them with a valuable life skill that will serve them well in every aspect of their future.
