STAAR Testing Days: Algebra EOC is Tuesday

As a reminder, all students will STAAR tests soon based on the schedule below. Students will participate in a "sack lunch" menu but have the option of bringing a lunch from home. Please be reminded that if they elect to bring their lunch, they will not have access to the microwaves as they will be eating in the classrooms. In addition, no outside visitors will be permitted on those days. This includes outside lunch. Drop off meals will not be accepted on state testing days due to the daily schedules. Thank you and we appreciate your help in the matter.

personal responsibility

Parents,

We have noticed a slight increase in the number of items being taken or coming up missing. Please discuss with your students the importance of respecting property that belongs to someone else. We also ask that if your student has a gym locker that they utilize it to place their valuable while they are away from them. We thank you for your continued support to make Fossil Hill the wonderful school we all love.

Snacks on Campus

Parents,

Please help us in knowing what your student is bringing to school. We have seen a few students bring extra snacks, candies, chocolates .... to school in order to sell them to other students. This is not permitted. All fundraisers occurring on campus must be approved following KISD procedures. In addition, extra snacks or food items may not be brought and shared with other students due to food service regulations. NO snacks will be allowed during STAAR testing days. Students may carry a sack lunch that does not require heating and will not be permitted to share.

Thank you for helping us with this.

KISD Tax Rate "Swap & Drop"

What if your tax rate could go down, while at the same time bringing in an additional $19 million in operating revenue for Keller ISD? It's possible through what we're calling a Tax Rate "Swap & Drop." Check out the preview video today and visit KellerISD.net/SwapDrop for more details and future updates!

While there may be emergency situations, we ask that all parent requests for early dismissal be done in person before 3:30 PM each day. After that time it is difficult to get your students down to the office before regular dismissal.

Reminder that you must be in the office in person to pick your student up for early dismissal. We can't allow students to leave the school unaccompanied before dismissal.

If you have any questions, please call the office at 817-744-3050. We sincerely appreciate your help!
