Justified Wars

  • American Revolution - Allowed freedom
  • War of 1812 - Allowed us to continue trade and expand
  • US Army vs. Native Americans - Allowed the US to expand
  • Civil War - Led to freeing the slaves
  • Mexican American War - Protected the borders
  • Spanish American War - Allowed the US to expand
  • WWI - Militarism, Alliances, Imperialism, Nationalism
  • WWII - Stopped the end of the Jewish Genocide
  • Vietnam War - Stop the spread of Communism
  • Korean War - Stop the spread of Communism
  • Gulf War - Protection of other countries
  • War on Terror - Protection from Terrorist

Unjustified Wars

  • Reasons they went to war no longer existed nor was there anything gained
  • Texas Revolution - We should have been allowed to secede
