Hello Bobcat Families!
Due to the importance of following the guidelines from federal and local health officials, we are reiterating Dr. Jones' note below. We urge you to please take caution this holiday season.
During Thanksgiving we are asking that families send any new updated information on Sunday before noon if a student or staff member should have a COVID related exposure or symptom which they need to report. This will provide time for GPS to assess our status after Thanksgiving. Contact tracers will not be calling families on Thanksgiving Day, Friday, or Saturday after the holiday. Please send any notifications to your school’s principal or Mary Keller, Head of Nursing.
While we can not ask or tell anyone that they cannot travel, we do ask that you consider the Governor’s orders and restrict all non-essential travel. But if you do travel out-of-state other than New York, New Jersey, or Rhode Island, we ask that you either have a PCR test less than 72 hours before leaving the affected state or upon your return. You will need to quarantine until you can obtain the results of a negative PCR test. If you cannot get tested, you will need to quarantine for 14 days from the date of your return.
In addition, you can review Governor Lamont's Executive Order No. 9I and the State’s travel advisory information.
Report Cards & Parent-Teacher Conference Survey
On Monday, you will find your child's report card in their backpack along with a survey that we ask all families to take and send back to school in your child's backpack. You can also take a picture of the survey and send it via dojo or email to your teacher. We learn much of what we know about students from our families, their first and most important teacher. Thank you for your support in these efforts!
If you prefer to take the survey digitally, you can find it here: https://forms.gle/ZStt2SkFeXy1nXez9.
