Algebra EOC Retakes Scheduled for February 16th & 17th
On Tuesday, February 16th and Wednesday, February 17th, 11th and 12th Graders will be taking the Algebra Retakes. Ms. Parise sent a notification to the scheduled students via email and phone message. Virtual students who require a bus for transportation to and from school should email Ms. Parise at Victoria.Parise@palmbeachschools.org by Friday, February 5th.
All scheduled students will need to report to campus at 7:15 a.m. and report to their testing location at 7:30 a.m. No students will be admitted into the testing rooms after 8:30 a.m.
Student rosters will be shared with teachers prior to testing and will also be posted in the front of the auditorium, the cafeteria, and the gym on Tuesday, February 16th and Wednesday, February 17th.
Testing should end around noon.

FSA Reading Retakes Scheduled for 11th & 12th Grade Students
FSA Writing and Reading Retakes for 11th & 12th graders will take place on Tuesday, February 23rd - Thursday, February 25th. All 11th & 12th grade students scheduled to take this FSA Reading retake received notification via email and phone message.
Virtual students who require a bus for transportation to and from school should email Ms. Parise at victoria.parise@palmbeachschools.org by Friday, February 12th.

Reminders From Our School Nurse
Our Nurse Mendez shared the following CDC recommendations:
- Maintain 6 feet distance from each other, do not meet in groups
- Wash hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially, after blowing your nose, coughing, sneezing, going to the restroom, or preparing food
- Use alcohol based hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol, if soap and water are not available
- Avoid touching eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands
- Do not share eating or drinking utensils
- Do not lower your mask to sneeze, cough or talk
- Cover your sneeze/cough with a tissue or sleeve
Reminders for On Campus Learners
- Bring your fully charged chromebook and charger. We encourage you to bring headphones as well.
- Wear a mask. Bring your PPE and hand sanitizer.
- Bring a water bottle.
- There is no charge for breakfast or lunch. Be sure to follow social distancing guidelines in the cafeteria. Masks may be removed only while eating and drinking.
- Be sure to follow the arrows & one-way pathways when walking to class.
- Know how you will get home. If you ride a bus, be sure you know the bus number.
OBAP EXPLORE AEROSPACE DIGITAL ACADEMY
OBAP, the Organization of Black Aerospace Professionals, is hosting the Explore Aerospace Virtual Academy! The Academy is open to everybody and anybody with an interest in aerospace education. Over the course of 12 weeks, students will learn from industry professionals about principles of flight, aerodynamics, aerospace careers, meet guest speakers, go on virtual tours and so much more!

The deadline to submit the application is Monday, March 8, 2021.
The interviews with the Scholarship Committee will be conducted on March 30 and 31, 2021.
The requirements in part for the scholarship are as follows:
- Cumulative Grade Point Average of 2.5 or higher
- Complete a scholarship award application
- Submit an official copy of your high school transcript
- Submit two letters of recommendation
Over the past 40 years, Lambda Alpha Alpha Chapter has presented more than $224,400 in scholarships to students.
