Bryn Mawr RocKS!

Hello families!

Our first two days of in-person learning was successful! Students and staff were all very excited to be in the building and everyone did an amazing job of following safety protocols. Students were energetic and ready to learn and we can't wait to see them again on Monday!

What We Learned This Week and How You Can Help
The Skyward App is the most efficient way to complete the required daily health attestation.

If you have a student returning to the building soon, we ask that you download the Skyward app now and ensure that your login information is working. If you have not logged in

recently, you may need to log in to Skyward on a computer in order to use the "Forgot Your

Login/Password" option. Once you are logged in to the app, you will set up a four-digit pin

that allows for easier access each day. Please note that students will not be allowed to

attend class in-person if they do not have their daily health attestation so we ask that you

draw your attention to this matter as soon as possible.

For those who remain in remote learning, teachers welcomed students to their new classroom communities this week. Students and teachers spent time getting to know each other and continued with their academic focus throughout the week.

We want to offer a heartfelt thank you to all of our staff, students, and families for all of your flexibility and support through this transition. We know it has not been easy and we are just so appreciative of our amazing school community! Thank you, all, so much!

Should you have questions about the in-person transition or any matter, please contact your child's teacher or contact Ms. Holm or me directly at the following email addresses:

Have a nice weekend!

In Partnership,

¡Hola familias!

Jaime Maxie, director

Emily Holm, subdirectora

¡Qué tenga un buen fin de semana!

En asociación,

Sra. Maxie

Power and Internet Outage Guidance

Power outages in the Pacific Northwest are a common occurrence during fall and winter months. Internet outages occur from time to time, even when power is maintained. When the power goes out for the teacher or student, learning can continue asynchronously (not live) until power is restored. Attendance will be determined based on student evidence of participation in asynchronous activities. (This information is also posted on the district website.)

If an individual teacher/class disruption occurs due to power/internet loss, families of students in that class will be notified. When a schoolwide disruption occurs due to power/internet outage, school principals will call/email families.
