Thank you for joining us for last week's Parent-Teacher Conferences. We are grateful for your ongoing support and partnership. We also want to thank the Kingsley PTA and and families for donations last week! The Kingsley staff enjoyed two nights of appetizers, dinner, and dessert!
There are a couple of dates we want to have on your radar for this week as a reminder:
- Tuesday, February 8th (date change) 100th Day of School (school-wide) Spirit Day
- Friday, February 11th - Valentine's Classroom Parties and Fun Lunch (ordering closed)

Calendar: There is school on Feb. 25, 2022!
District 58 updated its 2021-22 calendar last August. The updated calendar changed the date of the winter Teacher Institute Day. Last August, we emailed the updated calendar to families and posted it on our website. We realize some families might still have the old calendar, so we wanted to remind you of the following:
- Friday, Feb. 25 is a school day.
- Friday, March 4 is not a school day. (It's the County's Teacher Institute Day).
- Please access the official 2021-22 District 58 school year calendar here.

The Kingsley Playground Committee is creating action plans for sub-committee work. The more families involved, the quicker we can get this project rolling. We are looking for families (or friends of families) interested in supporting sub-committees in the following areas:
Grant Writing, Fundraising/Public Relations and Branding.
