We Miss You!!
Although we cannot physically be together at school, we would like you to know that we are thinking about all of you and missing you so very much. To stay connected, we will continue to reach out to our school family each week. In this newsletter, you will find resources/ideas for Social Emotional Learning, academic and real-life connection activities, virtues awareness and practice, and updates. We are here for you and thank you for working with your child/ren daily to ensure that learning continues!! Please do not hesitate to reach out to me and/or to our staff when you have questions or are in need.

Virtues Awareness and Practice
This week's virtue is RESILIENCE. RESILIENCE refers to
the capacity to recover quickly from difficulties; toughness. Example sentence:
"The community is amazed by the remarkable resilience of our medical professionals."

HANDS-ON SPRING LEARNING – HOMESCHOOLING WITH THE SEASONS: SPRING
While you’re running off to enjoy a bit of sunshine, consider some of these ways to deepen your learning this spring.
*Clear out the beds and plant your spring/summer vegetable, herb, or flower garden.
*Find bird nests in your backyard and participate in Cornell’s NestWatch or visit BirdSleuth for educational resources, webinars, and information on Project FeederWatch.
*Buy a new field guide (paper or app version).
*Listen for the spring peepers.
RENEW AND REFRESH In addition to any religious holidays your family observes, you can also celebrate this time of rebirth and nature with the spring equinox, Arbor Day, Earth Day, and May Day.
