Austin also has so many places to swim, and it being very humid here, that is a good thing. Places like Hamilton Pool and Krause Springs all add to Austin's awesome feel.
Austin is a beautiful city; the Colorado River flows through the center of it, with numerous lakes that stretch for nearly 100 miles. East of the river are the prairies, and northwest the land rises from 425 feet to about 1,000 feet in the hills.
Austin being the 11 largest city in the US it home to a total of 1,873,435 people, with the largest ethnic group being Anglo. The largest religion in Austin is Evangelical Protestant and the most common language is English.
People want to move to Austin for many reasons. Watering holes, the cost of living is low, there are jobs, people are friendly, there are lots of different seasons, there's stuff to do, LIVE MUSIC EVERYWHERE!!! The list goes on and on...........
