OPHS I.C.A.R.E. Volunteer
Dear Oak Park High School community,
Our commitment to creating a safe and nurturing learning environment for our students, staff and families at Oak Park High School (OPHS) is unwavering. I want to assure you that safety and security are our priority. In light of the incident that took place last week, our resolve for this work has been strengthened.
In tough times, this community is known for supporting each other. With this in mind, this is not work we can do alone. As a principal in Oak Park Schools for 12 years, I have repeatedly been amazed and encouraged by collaborative partnerships with the entire Oak Park community.
We have a shared responsibility to keeping our students, staff, and families safe. My ask is for parents/guardians, alumni, and community members to support our OPHS students by volunteering your time as an I.C.A.R.E. (Integrity, Community, Accountability, Respect, Excellence) Volunteer. Because we know you are dedicated to the success of OPHS, we want you to be part of ensuring our students and staff have a peaceful and productive end of the school year.
Sincerely,
Pam Vermiglio, Lead Principal
Oak Park High School
