Starting Saturday, July 25, people in Minnesota are now required to wear masks in all public indoor spaces and businesses, unless alone. City facility policy will follow the requirements in Governor Tim Walz's Executive Order. Let's continue our efforts to slow the spread and #MaskUpMN.

Driver's Safety Classes

At this time, AARP has cancelled all on-site classes through 2020. Although not ideal for us learners that do better in a classroom setting, AARP does offer an on-line class for those who want to participate to continue to receive their insurance discount. Fees will be charged to both AARP members and non-members. View AARP's online courses.

We are pursuing other opportunities for driver safety classes in the future and hope to provide alternatives soon. Stay tuned! If your insurance discount is expiring, I encourage you to talk directly to your agent to discuss your options.

Juniper Classes

Over the past year, Juniper has held more than 500 wellness classes in communities across Minnesota serving over 5,600 people. In March, all in-person Juniper classes were cancelled due to COVID-19. These classes are now moving online to be offered from the safety of your home. These live classes are free or low cost, held using HIPAA-secure Zoom, and lead by trained and certified leaders. Don’t know how to use Zoom, don’t worry we’ll teach you! Before each class begins, we have a 1-hour introduction session where you meet your leaders and fellow participants as you learn to use Zoom. Stay well, stay connected, and take charge of your health and well-being! Classes include topics like Living Well with Chronic Conditions, Diabetes Prevention, Arthritis Foundation Exercise Program and others.

To view and register for available Juniper Classes.
