A prayer for Advent
My little Lord Jesus, I love You and thank You for this Advent season. Please help me to understand all that You have done for me. Your loving mother held You in her heart and brought You into this world. Help me to do the same. My loving Jesus, I choose You, this Advent, as my King and my God. Draw me close to You and help me to see my sins so that I can change the things that You want me to change. Mother Mary, pray for me this Advent so that I may do all that God wants me to do. You said “Yes” to all that God asked of you. Please pray for me that I may do the same. Come, Lord Jesus,Come, Lord Jesus,Come, Lord Jesus, come! I love You, Jesus.
Amen.
Message form the Principal
Our school year has rapidly come to an end. It has been a very busy term and we are now down to the last week. Next week staffing will be advised and class lists for 2021 will be sent home the week after. Mrs Rebecca Clarke will be the Acting Principal for 2021 due to my secondment to the Regional Officers Position in Geraldton in 2021. I am sure everyone will make Mrs Clarke feel most welcome.
Congratulations to our Year 6 and Year 3 students who made their Confirmation on Friday night and First Eucharist on Sunday. It was a pleasure to see the students so well prepared. Many thanks to Miss Bechelli, Mr Popadynec and Miss Purvis for organising the children. A special thank you goes to Mrs McDonald for playing the music and leading the singing.
Congratulations to our Year 6 students who participated in their Graduation Ceremony on Tuesday night. I would like to thank Mr Popadynec for his work in having the students ready for the night. All the best to our Year 6 students as they move to secondary school. I am sure they will settle smoothly into high school life. The parents from Year 5 and 6 who were involved in organising the setup of the undercover area, the food preparation and serving are to be congratulated on their wonderful efforts. It made the night a memorable celebration.
Sincere congratulations also go to the Year 6 Award Winners who were announced at the Graduation Ceremony.

Reports are now available online. If you have any questions please see contact the office to make an appointment with the class teacher. We do not expect many parents to request an interview as teachers would have contacted you if they had any concerns regarding your child during the course of the semester.
I wish to advise families that double stream classes have been shuffled in preparation for the start of the 2021school year. The teachers looked at a number of criteria in determining the split, including friendships, academic, social, friendship and gender. The school will look at family requests however, the decision as to which student goes into which class rests with school.
A reminder that under no circumstances should students be dropped off at school without a parent being present prior to 8:30 in the morning. If your child needs to be dropped off prior to 8:30 families have access to Camp Australia Out of School Care.
Once again, I need to remind some families that they need to adhere to the school parking policy and the street verge signage. Parking is not permitted in ‘no standing' or 'no parking zones' along Forrest St and cars that do not follow the street and verge signage face a possible fine from the Ranger. Your help in this matter is be very much appreciated.
Please note, Term Four concludes for students on Friday December 11. School resumes for students, on Monday February 1, 2020.
God Bless and keep safe.

Artist of the week
The Artist of the Week is Xavier from Year 3, with his amazing candy cane artwork! His favourite thing about his piece is how he used lots of different techniques and the great shading. Xavier's favourite colour is black. When he is older he wants to be an artist and his favourite artist is Stormie Mills.
