I guarantee you have heard of the city of Los Angeles. It is known for its beaches and mountains but mostly the entertainment. The city is filled with many recording artists, and TV production.
L.A is the second largest city in the U.S. with a population of over 3.8 million people. The same year California became a state the same year L.A became a city. The city has about 80 other cities in it that include Beverly Hills, Santa Monica and Hollywood. It’s also known for its consistent threat of natural disasters like earthquakes. Los Angeles is also restricted to have sky scrapers because of earthquakes involving safety hazards. Los Angeles sit right on the San Andreas Fault. It’s right between the Pacific Plate and North American Plate.
It is the motion picture, television, radio and recording artist capital of the U.S. Housing many famous celebrities, and big events. It is home to many studios, and award shows such as the Oscars, MTV's, Grammys and many more.
It’s also an attraction for the climate. It is warm and sunny all year round or 329 days a week which means more people getting away from the cold. The beaches are popular for the exotic creatures that live there, but the waters are cold because of the cold California Current. The animals such as sharks, marine fish, sting rays, seals, whales, and many more there have adapted to this way of living.
Los Angeles has been recognized again and again as one of the most popular cities in the U.S.
