Jog-a-thon - Prize Winners
THANK YOU Park Village! The total raised through the Jog-a-thon to date is over $31,500. WOW! Your support means continued funding for Science with Mrs Nellies, Music with Miss LaDow, Art with Mrs Hirst, PE with Coach Mills, school-wide Technology, the Outdoor Classroom, the library, field trips and assemblies, community programs, and so much more!
Stay tuned for details regarding the upcoming incentive assembly for meeting our fundraising goal of $20,000 - featuring Principal Mosgrove and the teacher of the class that raised the most funds (over $3,600)... Mrs Doud!
Names were drawn for the incentive prizes, and announced this morning. Congratulations to the following lucky students!

DADS Group Meeting Tonight - March 1
DADS Group meeting is tonight at 7:00pm, at 7837 Goldfish Way. We will be discussing current projects as well as upcoming ones. Food and beverages will be provided. Candy Buyback Program Results
Thank you! i-Ortho, formerly Moser Orthodontics, donated $158 to PV Foundation for the 158 lbs of unwanted candy PV families donated to the fall Candy Buyback Program. i-Ortho collected over 4,000 lbs of candy from participating schools this year! The donated candy will be given to the military troops, Casa del Los Pobres, The San Diego Rescue Mission, Girls Scouts and other local organizations.

Come join the PTA Sponsored Potluck on Friday, March 15, 5:30 pm - 8:00 pm at the MPR/Lunch area. In addition to sharing food, we will have family-oriented activities, a dance performance, crafts, ice cream sundaes, and St. Patrick’s Day treats.

2019 PTA Officer Elections
No Place for Hate School - Walk Against Hate
Hello Park Village Families! As you know, our school is completing activities to become an official No Place For Hate School this year. As an additional activity, we're choosing to participate in the Walk Against Hate!
Please join us for the Walk Against Hate on May 19, 8:30 am-12:00 pm at Ingram Plaza, Liberty Station! At this event, Park Village Elementary will be honored for becoming a No Place For Hate School with a banner to display in our MPR! This is a non-political walk to celebrate making all of San Diego No Place For Hate. Thank you for your support! We hope to have a great showing representing our school at the Walk Against Hate on May 19th!
To register for the walk, please follow the steps below:

Volunteer Corner
Science Night, March 7 - No experience or science background is needed. You would be overseeing a station while our little ones sharpen their science skills with their parents. Please sign up for a night when your own child is not attending, as each participating student must be accompanied by an adult.
