Weekly Knight News
Week of 12-10-18
Amazing Staff
We started NWEA testing and did it a completely different way. Each of you took it on full force and it went as smoothly as possible. By weeks end you were pros with the testing site and continued to be flexible with the schedule to meet our students needs.
We also had our maternity leave for Ashrie leave due to personal reasons. Instead of trying to find a long-term substitute our other four 6th grade math teachers stepped up and did what was best for their students. Each of them took some of Ashrie's students to ensure they recieved quality instruction during this time. Some of their classes are now over 35 students. They each did this without asking and simply knew it was best for kids.
I bring this up because I feel that each of you continue to teach every day with that motto in mind "what is best for our students". Thank you for that! I am proud to be a Knight with each of you.

December 20th Showcase Night
We will also have student work showcased from Art, FACS, Ceramics, and PLTW. Some students will be here to talk about their projects and show them off to the community. I anticipate a lot of parents and proud students in the building that evening.
If you are looking for a night to come out and support alot of your students, this evening would be a good one!
