PLE Zen Den
January 11-15, 2016
The word of 2016 is Canvas. All of the tools you use for Playlist Builder this year will have to be converted over to Canvas so get ready for me to go into bill collector mode as we work diligently to get you ready. The winter months are the perfect time to practice and play in Canvas as we have multiple workdays and impending snow days. PLEASE see me to get a Canvas 101 or send me your resources so I can build your next unit.
As we prep for new devices all PLEFs are moving into Canvas overdrive: creating units, attending PDs and helping teachers in classrooms use the resource. This week I will focus on Science 8. Everyone else, contact me directly for appointments. I look forward to working with all of you.
As always, view the PLEF Instructional Coaching Menu to pick from a variety of resources to help you and your students grow. Have a great week.
Great Teaching and Learning Spotlight
Great teaching and learning is occurring in every classroom in your building. Your peers are your greatest resource. Visit their classroom during planning to keep your ideas fresh. If you have something you'd like to share, email it to me and I'll feature it in my weekly updates.
Ms. Hough (Allen ELA) flipped her class this week. Please contact her if you want to try helping your students grow using this route.

Thank you to the teachers who agreed to be on the PACE Teacher Leader Advisory team. These teachers (below) will have a say in the new device we will implement next school year.
